For Art’s Sake is a Madison, AL based Art Studio and Gallery where your creativity comes to life! We offer art lessons for artists of all ages and skill levels. Join us for a variety of classes including Drawing 1 & 2, Painting 1& 2, General Art for Elementary aged children as well as Teens, Mini Art, Adult Art and Private Lessons. We also offer themed Summer and School Break Art Camps throughout the year where we explore your kiddos’ creativity while teaching them a variety of visual art techniques and skills.

“Budding Artists!”
Spring Break Art Camp
March 10 - 14
9AM - 2PM
Our Spring Break Camp offers children ages 6-13 a chance to explore their inner artist! Our theme for this week is “Budding Artists!” Campers will have the opportunity to work with a range of mediums including painting, drawing and 3D materials. All skill levels are welcome. We are excited to see you there!

General Art
Ages 6 - 13
Tuesdays 5:30PM - 6:25PM
General Art is for students who are interested in a variety of art making techniques and materials. Throughout the course students will explore traditional and non-traditional art making materials, participate in creativity exercises and learn about the connection between visual art and the wider world.

Adult Art
Ages 18+
Tuesdays 6:30PM - 7:25PM
Adult Art is for anyone over the age of 18 who is interested in a variety of art making techniques and materials. This class will focus on introducing traditional and non-traditional art making materials to students as well as refining the techniques of the more experienced artist. All skill levels are welcome.

Tuesdays: 4:30PM - 5:25PM
Thursdays 4:30PM, 5:30PM & 6:30PM
Private Instruction is a one-on-one teacher/student lesson where For Art’s Sake artists will develop individualized instruction based on the students’ interests and skill level.

Heritage Elementary STEAM Night
February 13th 2023
We had a great time at Heritage Elementary School’s STEAM night this February! We were invited to participate by hosting an art activity for the students. Our activity of choice was “Bubble Art” which was a big hit with the kiddos! We are so thankful to Heritage Elementary for inviting us to participate!
Liberty Middle School Bryce Anthony Eason Memorial Scholarship Art Auction
Thank you to Liberty Middle School for allowing us to participate in their first annual Bryce Anthony Eason Memorial Scholarship Art Auction!
This scholarship honors the memory of previous Liberty Middle School student, Bryce Eason. We, along with Liberty art students and other professional artists, were invited to donate a piece of artwork to be auctioned. The funds raised from the auction will provide a scholarship to a James Clemens High School senior who has an interest in art. Our contribution of a painting we call, “Layers of Love”, was a collaborative effort between art students from For Art’s Sake as well as the owners, Jennifer Lewis and Carolyn Marrs. We all had a great time working on this project together!
3rd Thursdays on Main!
We had a great time on Main Street as a pop-up vendor at the first annual “3rd Thursdays on Main!” Along with many other vendors, food trucks and live entertainment, we hosted a children’s art activity on 3rd Thursdays June - August 2022. Thank you to the Shoppes of Downtown Madison for including us!
